Hi, My daughter had a vaginalplasty when she was 15mths, we were told that her clitoras was very large and needed to be made smaller, My hubby and I felt very strongly about it and said NO NO NO NO, so they did the vaginalplasty and left her clitoras alone, we are so glad we spoke up because her clitoras is what would be classed as normal from age 3yrs she actually grew into it, so if they say its got to be made smaller please know that she will grow into it dont let them touch it and even say "leave it for now" Ive not heard of one person thats not been affected by it, sometimes the doctors dont get it right, the only side effect our daughter had to deal with was being super sensitive in that area and would rock on furniture that all stopped around 3 yrs of age. The vaginalplasty had to be done there was no way around that, but all is good now she is 9yrs now with another surgery down the track. good luck
