I had a revision to the first surgery done when I was 23, the intial surgery wasn't quite a success because they did it differently 43 years ago. I will say that I'm very glad that I did go for the revision, I hated myself and felt like a spotlight was on me when I had sex. I may have lost some sensation but what I gained much more in self-esteem. I had a pediatric urologist at CHOP do the 2nd surgery and he did a good enough job where I do look much differently than before. I had sex with several people before and after the surgery, many negative comments before the 2nd surgery none after. Some of these people out here have been spreading the same message for many years, I don't come on much anymore because of this nonsense. Do what is right in your heart.
