I'm a 22 yr old female with CAH. I had an MRI last summer that showed white brain matter. I had one doctor try to tell me I had MS. But i went to an MS specialist & he told me I absolutley did not have MS. The matter I had was not in spots that MS brain matter is usually found. I found articals online about studies done on people with CAH having white brain matter. I showed them to them to both doctors. The first doctor ignored the articals completely & the specialist said they were absolutley legit & the white matter i had was almost identical to the matter found in the studies. These are probably the same studies you found. The doctor also found more studies on his own about this issue. The specialst also found out they have doctors in Washington DC who continue to studies on this specific issue. However, the specialist did not seem too concerned about the matter causing serious problems. I just wanted to show you u are not alone & ther are others out there like us. Hope this makes u feel a little better. It makes me feel better that u spoke up about this on here. I was feeling like I was the only one as well.
