Non salt wasting, which manifests itself more at puberty is not diagnosed because it's more or less symptomless until puberty. In England, we're not tested at birth for this, which may be why it goes unnoticed.
My grandmother lost each and everyone of her baby boys within two weeks of birth. Nobody ever knew why?
Yet, my mother finds it hard to accept that it's a recessive genetic disorder!!
