Sometimes young teen girls with CAH are put on 'the pill' to help regulate their menstrual cycle. Is this what you mean?
I know I was on it for a while when I was about 12 to 13 years old to help lessen the length of the periods and help them to be more regular. I started having periods at 10 years old, they were always irregular with heavy bleeding and a lot of pain.
