I'm a 32 year old male with SWCAH and had a lot of problems in my younger years.If your son is at a good monitored corticosteriods therapy and fludrocortison he can get no problem till he is 80 years old. from the boy to a man then you must anticipate the steriods with his growth. Seek for an Endo. For all the problems that could happen..know all the things about an Addison-crisis. Salt loosing and how to spot it by your child in the first hours. All about dosing CAH, what's it doing and what's it NOT doing.Be open to the child in every sitaution of stress. There is a lot to say and many things to learn but be prepaired for the SWCAH-things that can happen. Then you feel the situation can be under control. If the boy gets an adolecent he gets an other problem..they just fixed me again..i have to know about it.seriously..if you want contact me, then we can talk. You need info!!!
