my name is corri, my son was also diagnosed with swcah but he was 4 weeks old when he went to the hospital with vomiting and weight loss and they didnt know why it took 2 weeks for them to diagnose him. it was the scariest time of my life. i have been looking for other families that have this also everyone i talk to hasnt even heard of it. it would be kinda nice to have someone to talk to with the similar situation. My son has had several ear infections but since he was diagnosed nothing serious. you just have to watch them more closly and hope and pray it doesnt turn bad. if you would like to exchange emails and have kinda online support i would be willing. my son is now 14 mos and he is a normal little boy and the only way anyone knows he has a medical condition is by his medical bracelet.
