Dear Emily, am also 17 but not sure what I have. I live in a remote part of Eastern Europe and I am not sure what I have. I have XX chromosones, I am fully female in my genitals but my body has extemly high testoterone and as a result I appear to be a male to most who look at me. I have all the secondary effects of a male pubity however I identify fully as a female am into more femminine things and do not desire to masculanise my body at all. Someone suggested to me that I might have your condition so when I found you I thought I should right to you and ask, can CAH if untreated result in a female having a high testotorone. I am also attracted to females (though would hate to approach anyone in my current rather horrible masculanised state) but I am told this has nothing to do with my condition. There is little medical or educational resourses here can you help?
