A part of your body produces 3 types of enzymes(something that causes reactions)
1 of them is adrenal(type of male harmones)the other 2 is related to controlling the amount of water and salt in your body.
while adrenal gets more the other 2 gets less.
your body senses this and forces your body to produce more of these 2 types of enzymes, however the production of adrenal is also increased, causing effects related to the maturity of males
your height is also effected by this
at each end of you5r bones there are gaps which allow the bones to grow.
because of you illness, you go through maturity at a younger age,
causing those gaps to close early, therefore affecting your height.
