jamilah. Yes children can LIVE with Add but they cannot function to there full potential. They make poor choices in doing things and usually are always making bad ones and get in trouble. I have a Granddaughter with CAH and a son with Add. two very different disorders. But both are life threating. Most ADD kids are depressed and attempt suicide as do CAH children. Medication is needed for both !
