Hi Larry, I am always reading up on CAH and ran across your message. My son, Jacob, 20 years old, was also diagnosed with CAH at 14 days; we did not think he would make it. I live in a state where they DO NOT test for this. We were very lucky. His first 8 years were the toughest. He is in his 3 rd year of college - he is going to Culinary School. He is a black belt and has been in karate since 5. We have 3 Karate Schools in Dallas, Texas. And he is an Instructor.
Jake had all of the side effects, too, acne, weight gain, etc. Jacob also takes Florinef as well.
