teenage girls with cah
Mar. 20th, 2006   7:59am
Hi! my name is Michelle. I have a almost 2 year old daughter with sw cah. She has already had her surgery, I was glad to hear what Cloe and Lorren said about the surgery, I wondered everyday if I had made the right decision. Anyway I do have a question for you girls. My daughter is almost 2 and she is very small. She weighs 18 lbs. and is 27 inches tall. Were you small children and are you still small? Are you smaller than most other kids? And are you on track with other kids developementally physically and mentally(like in shcool)? The reason I ask is b/c my daughter is kind of behind as far as talking and such. I wondered if that was to do with cah or her meds. One more question, I have a 7 year old daugter who does not have cah and she kind of knows what is going on with her sister, should I tell her more and when should I tell my daughter who has cah about it? If you ladies could help me out it would be great. I really want to get an idea of how things will be in the future. I just don't want my daughter to feel weird or like she doesn't belong. Any advise or answers would be greatly appreciated. I am new to this site and I love it, I think its great to know there are more people out there with the same issues and to be able to talk with each other about stuff makes it easier. I hope you all appreciate this site and each other- have a great day and Thanks a bunch in advance!
michelle
