I am not sure if this as answered but i believe the risk is about 50%? I was born with it and my sister was not. My cousin was born with it and her 2 sisters were not. and my father and my aunt had it but his 2 brother did not. I believe it can skip generations as well. Like my cousin that has it neither of her parents had it but 1 of my grandparents did
