Well right now I am looking for any information or ideas on why I should bring children from schools into hospitals to interact with patients around there own age. I already have my own opinion on it and personally I believe that friendship and a social life are key ingredients in happiness. Life might not be perfect or easy, but friends and people to talk with that are your own age can distract all of the bad stuff and bring relief to the hard stuff. So basically right now I am just trying to find out how patients and school children feel about this, and if it would interest them, I would also like to know there opinions. So basically I am looking for any help I can get.
If you don't mind me asking, you mentioned you have a child with SWCAH, what is that like day to day, and how do the treatments work? I hope your son is doing well, and I really appreciate all the help you can give me.
