I was just reading about your sports issue. The first thing i must say however hard it is, is stop worrying so much about how CAH affects you. I spent 2 years of my life worrying what people would think of me and blaming why i wasn't fit enough and everything on cah and the truth was, it was me who had the mind problems, and it ended in quite severe depression. I find doing a kind of martial art helps to keep my mind at ease and channel my problems. You need to realise CAH shouldn't take over your life, it's just one of life's challenges.
I've found CAH to bring good side effects when it comes to sport (as well as the bad ones too), like strength and determination. Heat can be an issue, but it is an easy one to overcome. Drink LOTS of water during exercise and if you're in the gym, have the air conditioning on or a wet towel to cool you down. Also eat a banana before sport to give you energy and if you're doing a lot of sport, have a sip of an energy every now and again to keep you feeling energized.
Cah should never stop you in the things you love:) I'm probably the most sporty girl in my year at school and my teacher says one of the best. I still have times where in the middle of a hockey or lacrosse match i feel like i'm going to collapse, but i've learnt to deal with it and i'm usually back on the field within 5 minutes.
Go to the gym on your own for a while and see how far you can push yourself and what your limit is. Working out a good diet helps too because sugary foods and junk food really weakens your performance.

As you can see i'm a little obsessed with health and fitness, but i have to say it's made my life a lot easier and happier! If you need to know anything about cah and fitness just ask:)

About the guy issue, all i can say is be careful in what you say at your age. Guys can be spiteful (so can girls) and mean and they sometimes don't understand things. I've always thought that some things about me should remain secret to friends and boyfriends until i know for a fact they will understand it the way i do. It's not that you're ashamed of who you are, it's just knowing not everyone is as mature as us:)
Men and women who don't have CAH learn more about being different and how everyone has their own problems in life and become more understanding as life goes on, especially in this day and age. Confidence is the key, having confidence in yourself makes people have more confidence in you, learn to love yourself and people will love you too. I've still got problems, i'm still not completely 'right' down there but i'm not in a huge hurry to do do tooo much right now, so it doesn't matter too much anyway, I'm only 15 anyway! There's too many girls who throw there lives away these days. In some ways CAH is a blessing, it makes us grow up and appreciate things.:)

Hope it all works out for you
xx

Chloe
