First of all, just a standard 17ohp test is not enough to diagnose NCAH. When during your cycle was the test done and was it early in the morning? If it was follicular phase (during the first week) and early in the morning and >200, then you need an ACTH stimulation test. Also, it would not be likely for you to have NCAH and not have high testosterone. Was that one of the hormones checked?
Some people with mild LOCAH do not take steroids and just treat their symptoms with things such as Yasmin. Hope it works for you!
