I have a younger brother and sister who both have SWCAH and it has recently come to my attention that it is possible that I could have LOCAH. I was wondering if there was anyone who could give some advice on which symptoms to look for and maybe what test to ask for? I was diagnosed with PCOS in early 2004 and at the same time with dysmetabolic syndrome. I know that the symptoms for PCOS are sometimes similar to those of LOCAH, however instead of the typical lack or abscence of periods I experience extremly long heavy periods. I also struggle with almost continuous anemia, some hair growth, darkening of skin under my arms and continous weight gain. Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
