As you all remember I have had TERRIBLE headaches for years & years and I've been taking all types of meds including Vicodin, etc. However, I've now been on a low dose of a beta-blocker and I am amazed how it has helped my headaches!!!! My head pain is mostly caused by stress and the blood vessels swell & throb causing the pain. The beta-blocker reduces the swelling of the blood vessels, thus no headaches!!! Between the Effexor for depression, Yasmin for PCOS, Dex for LOCAH and now this beta-blocker --- I'm having a good week!! I know its a lot of meds but age my age, 47yrs, after years & years of trying to treat this symptom and that symptom with supplements, vitamins, organic foods, alternative medicine, where nothing worked --- give me the modern meds because they just work better on me!!!
