Sorry you haven't gotten any response. This board hasn't been very active lately. I guess it's just the busy time of year. Anyway, yes, generally a normal 17OHP and DHEAS would exclude NCAH. What were your actual numbers? If the 17OHP is over 200 and was tested before 9 am during the first week of your cycle (the week of your period), then an ACTH stim test should be done to test for NCAH. If it wasn't tested at the correct time, then it should be retested and if it was, and the level was below 200, then supposedly you do not have NCAH. High testosterone (causing the thinning hair and facial hair) can come from either the adrenals or the ovaries. High DHEAS would indicate an adrenal origin. The diabetes would more likely be associated with PCOS, but, you're right, the hot flashes (an indication of low estrogen) sound more like perimenopause. Hope this helps some!
