Dee what time did your daughter have her test done?  How long after her tablets?  10.6 mnol/ls 17 OHP is not high however the andro is at 16.5 nmol/ls.  The 17 OHP shows a snap shot of her control at that time, where as the andro shows the 24 hour control.  It maybe that your daughter may need to adjust the timing of her doses, how many doses does she take a day, just the one?  It could be that she needs a dose in the morning and one at night.  Pred does not last 24 hours so taking it at night, you would not have that much in the system. Normally people split the dose of pred to morning and night, so she maybe losing control when the pred is out of her system, so by just adjusting the night dose, you are only suppressing the 17 OHP whilst the pred is in the system. A bigger dose does not stay longer in the system.  Dex is usually used once a day.  Are you from the UK?
Mary
