vomiting
Dec. 17th, 2006   7:31pm

My oldest, Rachel, 17yrs old, was just put back on Dex after NIH thought she could live w/out steriods.  Wednesday night she started vomiting (why do kids always begin vomiting at night instead of mid-morning??).  After 2 vomits, I gave her an injection of SoluCortef.  We tried to get some anti-nausea pills to stay down.  After several more hours and 5 more vomits, I gave her another injection.  She said she felt a lot better after the 2nd injection.  Rachel did a little too much Saturday and then early Sunday morn she started vomiting again, so I gave her a 3rd injection!!!!! The rest of today she is nibbling and sipping fluids and feeling well enough to do her homework.

We had 3 schools in our area closed because of this virus!!  I pray that no one else in our family get this nasty virus, especially me because I do not have any baking done nor any presents wrapped!!!  To all of you LOCAHers --- keep washing your hands!
