All this is very interesting. I just looked up some old test results and see that my andro was very high but 17 OH P and all others including T were normal on last tests...post hysterectomy and oophorectomy. I am not on any meds.
I believe that in my younger years - I am now 64 - that T was always very high but progesterone was low. These tests were done by saliva by naturopath. My Ob/Gyn was following all this and he has retired.
I have not seen an endo of late - only once after the surgery 5 years ago. And none before that for maybe 30 years. I wonder what they would have determined if the diagnosis were done now?
