5 yr old daughter diagnosed with CAH Jan. 13th, 2007 11:13am
My daughter who is 5 years old has been diagnosed with CAH recently and just started Cortef and solu-cortef. She was also diagnosed with precocous puberty and takes lupron injections for that. The doctor did not say she was considered late onset however. She has pubic hair, breasts, body odor, and just started her period as well. A lot of what I am reading talks about genitals, girls taking on male characteristics, etc. She doesnt seem to have that. Really i am so confused right now. Can anyone help??
