Well, I'm not a doc of course....but I would think that missing your doses would contribute to your symptoms. Unless you hace pcos too. My daughter and I both have locah. Mine a tad more severe than hers though. But she however has been on 12.5 mgs of Cortef and still has symptoms, she seems to be getting worse and gained 11 lbs in 2 months. So they are running some tests to see if she is insulin resistant or has pcos. I on the other hand have been maintaining well on 15mg of Cortef. If I miss a dose I can tell....I get very tired, and sometimes even abnormally irritable. When I used to take Dex I really couldn't tell I missed a dose unless I missed like 2 days or something (rarely ever happened) But I like the way Cortef makes me feel better than I did the Dex.

Anyway you are welcomed to email me at certified_prankster (@) yahoo.com, there is also a locah board on yahoo but it's not really active, days go by without people posting. But you might want to read the old posts. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/CAHSISTERS2/  Take care

M1
