Hoping to get input from others here, too

Melissa, you have really been through a tough time! I feel for you and wish I could help. I have to question your cortisol level, but could it and your aldactone level both be wrong? I would certainly do what I could to contact the lab to see if a mistake could have been made. I would also search for another doctor who is willing to try things and treat you kindly. Maybe a test could be done through another lab to see if the results are the same. Don't give up trying to find an answer!

I would say that your symptoms sound the most like lipoid hyperplasia, discounting the cortisol/aldosterone results. Could you get genetic testing? Also, a doctor who is not an endocrinologist will sometimes be more willing to try a treatment. My daughter, who only tested in the carrier range for LOCAH, is being treated by her allergist. Keep us posted on how you are doing; I will pray for you!

Kat
