Natalie, I'm so sorry to hear of your health and eyesight issues. I hope you soon get well and get used to your new glasses, too! From what I understand, with trifocals, you would read the computer screen through the middle lens. My husband works with computers all day and got some medium strength (between reading and distance) glasses to use just at the computer, and he loves them.
Pleas don't feel like you have nothing to contribute! We need people here to answer questions (right now I feel like I am doing that almost all by myself), especially those who have first hand experience, which you certainly do. My knowledge is mostly from reading. Plus, I've missed being able to compare notes with you on our daughters. How is Rachel doing? My daughter isn't doing so well; it would really help if we had a definitive diagnosis, so I'm working on that.
