For nine years I went off my steroids and took Brauer's Adrenal Cortex homeopathic drops. My naturopath advised the dose - which now in retrospect I think was way too low. I think if I had taken florinef with a higher dose of 'the drops' I may have done much better.

At the end of the nine years (and probably much earlier) I was extremely ill; all-over hyperpigmentation, very elevated baseline ACTH, very low BP - orthostatic hypotension all the time etc, etc......but for the first time in my life I saw what I looked liked without steroids on board - thinner face - high cheekbones I didn't know I had - hehe. Such a pity!!

I think for a NCCAH person (a mild version of NCCAH perhaps) they could be useful to try or even in conjunction with a lower steroid dose. I am a Classic and obviously they were not enough for me.

I actually just went onto the Brauer website and it looks like they no longer manufacture these - maybe they heard my story lol!
