Hi, my name is Christine, and I post here occasionally. I am 31 years-old, and a Registered Nurse. My 6 year-old daughter has Non-Classic CAH, and I have PCOS. (Had genotyping done.)
As far as hairloss goes...Angie, I highly recommend you and your daughter check out the soul cysters website...If you type in Soul Cysters in any search engine, you'll come across it. It has message boards for women and teens with PCOS, and many awesome tips about everything from acne to weight to hair loss...Including an entire natural/alternative forum. I have used many of the things I've found there in my own treatment. Is your daughter on Metformin? She needs to be, whether or not she is insulin resistant. I know from experience that the Metformin (at the right dose) can stop hair loss.
