My daughter who supposedly only has a minor case of NCAH (but dose have some acne on chin and has started to grow rapidly and is only 5 yrs old) has a tiny bald spot on top of her head. She has long hair and at first I thought it was from putting her hair up too much and was hair breakage. But I have been leaving hair down and doing other things and there is no signs of hair regrwoth in this spot. It is right on top of head on natural hair part line and is about the size of half a pinkie finger nail. It is obvious as it is bigger than her part and I am worried it may even be getting bigger from when I first noticed it about 2 months ago.
She did say only one day that it hurt a little on top of her head and some times it appears to be a bit different colored than her scalp (but not all the time).
Is this "male pattern baldness" or is it too minimal to classify as anything right now? I am worried as whatever the case it is does not seem normal.
