My children are on a dexamethasone elixir, not the pill. The endo that we switched to does not use the pill because breaking the pill is never exact. Also, when I did give my children the dex pill, I mistakenly gave it at night rather then in the morning. Taking it at night increases it's potency many-fold. I do read on this board that people take meds throughout the day, my kids do not have to do that. Good luck.
