Natalie, I know what you are going through with your mom. We had my mom with us until we could no longer provide the level of care she requires. She is now in a wonderful assisted living facility and I am over there several times a week, as are my brothers, my sisters-in-law, and my husband. My mom is 82 and has Alzheimers along with seizure disorder and has had several strokes which have destroyed hr sense of balance. Sometimes she is very confused and other times not so much. It's hard to watch. My daughter has been doing well with her CAH, but she has experienced many knee and hip problems and has undergone 2 surgeries (1 hip and 1 knee) and had her knee manipulated once, so that is 3 times under general anesthesia since this past October. She is still on crutches and using a wheelchair at school. I try to exercise daily to help with the weight and to relieve stress. You hang in there. If you need someone to talk to, please feel free to e-mail me at kagee88@comcast.net. If you want to actually talk (like on the phone), e-mail me and I will give you my phone number. Best of luck to you and your family and I will definitely keep you in my prayers.
