My son and daughter both have non classical CAH. My son was diagnosed and right after that my other two kids were tested (my middle son does not have it). Both my kids are on dexamethasone elixir (dosed in the AM only). My son is in Growth Hormone (on shot 6times per week, given at bedtime). My son is also on metfomin as he was oversupressed with a previous endo. Both my kids are on the allergy/asthma cocktail of nasonex, claritan, and singulair.
Going to CARES was the right thing to do. I also had a meeting with the school staff. They call me whenever the kids spike a fever.
