Thanks, Bonnie, that just helps confirm for me that my daughter really doesn't seem to have PCO. If you can remember about that blood test, I would be interested in what that was. Amazing that you had to ask the dr to test her for insulin resistance. You'd think they'd do that automatically! BTW, my daughter also has hair on her lower back. It really freaked me out when I noticed it (and I vaguely think I remember her having it when she was a child, but I didn't know enough to be concerned about it), but we've never talked about it because I don't think she needs anything else to be self conscious about. Since she can't easily see it, I don't think she realizes that it's abnormal.
