I'm so sorry to hear of all your difficulties, plus the frustration of not knowing the cause! Do you have high blood pressure, low potassium, anything else abnormal? What further testing is being done or treatment? Even though I don't think my daughter's high aldosterone level is valid either, the dr has done a 24 hr urine salt-loading test to verify the high aldos (don't have the results yet). It seems the right thing to do. Check out this website about high aldosterone:

Maybe something there will be of help. Perhaps the high aldos is secondary to some other problem which is causing your body stress, which would also explain the high cortisol. Don't know how the precursors fit in though. Why don't they try you on steroid therapy to suppress the high levels? Good luck!

Kat
