If you do not have 21-hydroxylase deficiency, you might have a deficiency of 3 beta-HSD (3 beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase). This would raise your testosterone and dhea, and it is being diagnosed as the true cause for many cases which previously would have been called PCOS.
