I am a 40 year old female with a life long history of few menstrual periods, short statue and then in my 20's tons of facial hair . In my 30's I became obese mostly in my abdomen, and have literaly been sick with non stop infections and bizzare illnesses for the last ten years. I posted a few weeks ago here for the first time. My latest testing shows elevated ACTH with low 24 hour cortisol. I have it repeated more then once. I went to see a new endo last week who belives I have cushings although my blood work does not show this. Tomorrow I have an mri of the pituitary. My H2 whatever tests for LOCAH came back completly normal even lowish. My doctor is stumped. All I know is I am now scared because I have deteriated so mech that daily functioning is becomming problematic. For the last week and a half I have been sick with fever and sinus infection. Could this be LOCAH with normal H tests?
