I too am pregnant (19 weeks) and have LOCAH (21 deficiency). Last year my husband was tested (genetic testing on the NHS) to see whether he was a likely carrier. Ask to be referred to the genetics dept in your local hospital.
The test involves a blood sample being taken and a lab test where they look at the genetic code at three specific points on the relevant chromosome where 95% of carriers have a fault. If no faults are found then you will be told that your husband has less than a 5% chance of being a carrier.
