Side effect of Dexamethason May. 23rd, 2007 3:52am
I am taking Dexamethason 0.25 mg at night for two weeks now and am experiencing tenderness in my breasts (seem more swollen) and occasionaly shortness of breath. Once or twice i had some sharp pain in my chest region, which i think is unlikely due to anything related to the heart or lungs (am only 32 y/o)-heart rate and BP are normal. Has anyone experienced such side effects before when they started Dexa therapy? I wonder if it's just my body adjusting to get the hormones back to normal......I talked to my endo and she said that she has never heard of such a side effect but to keep an eye on it.
