JoAnn, Unfortunately I only caught the last 10 minutes of the show on the last airing. But I was able to hear what you were diagnosed with and look it up online and find your post. What caught my attention at first was the discussion on PCOS which at one time I thought my 28 year old daughter suffered from but had never been tested for the condition. But then the doctor started talking about some of the classic symptoms of CAH, one of which was the browning of the knuckles and other body areas. This is only a minor symptom that my daughter has had for several years compared to her more serious symptoms of major anxiety, depression, weight gain, acne, back pain, kidney problems, and female problems. She is a shell of the once happy young lady she was about 10 years. She has three young children. Her symptoms have gotten worst after the birth of each of her children. She has had major problems since the birth of her last child 2 1/2 years ago. She just had a hysterectomy two months ago and had suffered also from endometriosis for the past 10 years. She has little enjoyment in life. At the end of the show your husband described you as once again being energetic, healthy and happy. I would give anything to be able to say that about my daughter. Since I missed the majority of the show I can't compare your story to my daughter's. But I wanted to ask you about the tests you had, the doctor that was featured on the show and how long it took you to get this diagnosis of non classical CAH. I know you are in the Philadelphia area. I am also in the area. Any information will be most welcomed.
