I recently had a ACTH test done and this endo was concerned about my testosterone, he said it was 115..then it went down(20 mins later) to 0.8 and then again back up. He said he didnt seem to understand. I know the test jump starts the pituitary and then the adrenals process the hormomes. what harmones or what is it exactly they are looking for, and is 115 bad. I took steriods and they gave me really made shakes and anxiety before my period and also proscar(which is used to lower testosterone in men with prostate cancer) I have stopped these meds, I can not tolerate them. I'm constantly thirsty and very tired, especially before my period..can anyone explain. the test results or any input that can help.
