I have been seeing an endo for about 2 years now - I am on 18 medications for various health problems that started about 3 years ago. I have a condition called empty sella syndrome - my pituitary is not functioning correctly. I have since come down with diabetes - I am on insulin injections and hormone injections - pancreas is not functioning - my thyroid is not functioning - i am on meds for that - triglycerides are over 2000 - with 3 different meds - they are now down to 450. I am losing my eyesight - they dont know why - I had to quit working 2 years ago - no income so now I am on disability medicaid temporarily. My endo is watching for something called secondary adrenal insuffiency. I saw the show about CAH and everything about it was me - I was watching my life - i asked my endo about it - he said it is very rare and i wont have it. He tested my testerone levels and they were 95. He says it is not CAH. I have so many symptoms of this - the hot all the time - just everything.
My question is what test should I request to really rule out CAH? I am tired and frustrated and just want to feel better.
