Hi, thanks for responding. You're right, I rechecked the lab slip. She is using the dex. to check cortisol, and I know she is checking for cushings, which I am sure I don't have. She did get a baseline for the cortisol, and 17ohp as well as thyroid and other things. I haven't gotten those results back yet. I didn't want to take the dex. until I was sure that I was not pregnant. i took a home test, and it was negative also, so i think i am for sure not pregnant. I guess I will go ahead and do the dex. test. The thing I am worried about if #1 will the dex make me have a panic attack if it raises my cortisol level? # 2 Will 1mg of dex just taken one time make me gain weight? Any help will be welcomed. thanks again.
