I'm really glad I stumbled across this board because I have had a really hard time finding anything about cah (late onset anyway) on the internet. I've not been diagnosed with cah yet because my endocrinologist is still trying to figure out what's wrong with me, but this was one of the conditions that she mentioned.
My symptoms are facial hair and hair on my belly, acne, and irregular periods (but they have not always been irregular). I know these are symptoms related to CAH. They also did some blood work and I had high levels of testosterone and DHEA.
I have some other symptoms too, but I'm not sure if these are related to LOCAH. For example, I often will get these dizzy spells and I feel really shaky, like around 10:30 every morning because I feel like I need to eat. And I get a lot of headaches and migraines (made worse if I don't eat). Also, every time I've gone to the doctor, they've said I have high blood pressure. It's usually around 140/80. I' ve also started to have chest pains which I think are related to anxiety. Like if I get really startled, sometimes I feel a twinge, but then it's over.
Does anyone else have similar symptoms? Do these sound like symptoms of CAH, or could I possibly have CAH in addition to another condition? I don't get the results of my latest bloodwork back until next week so until then, I'm just anxious to figure out what could possibly be wrong with me.
