This morning I was diagnosed with CAH and hypothyroidism. I was put on Dex (.5, which will be reduced to .25 in 6 weeks). and Levroxyl for the thyroid.
The thing I am most concerned about is "moon face" and weight gain. How much of an increase do you notice in your appetite on dex? Can you control your appetite? How much weight should I expect to gain, if any? Is it difficult to lose weight?
I on the thin side now, and I exercise often and eat healthy. I suppose the thryoid meds will boost my metabolism too, but I am just curious to know some different experiences many of you have had with the meds.
