Treatment options
Aug. 1st, 2007   4:16pm
I have been diagnosed with CAH, and I've been prescribed Dex, but I am very hesitant about taking it.

I have very few symptoms, primarily acne and irregular periods. I don't have a facial hair problem, I'm not short (taller than parent. I'm a 5'8 female). I got my period at 13, a normal age. etc.

My symptoms do not bother me as much as I suspect the side effects of dex will.

My endo's primary concern is my high DHEA (not DHEAS) level. I've never even been tested for DHEAS, and won't be until 3 weeks on dex.

Are there any other treatment options?

Scurred
