Cristi I totally understand where you are coming from. My daughter and I both have locah. My daughter was dxed at age 10 and was said to have had a boneage 2 years advanced (read by the same doctor each time) but when we changed docs in the same clinic mind you, she read her boneage at that time as being on target then later changed the result to being advance, soon after that she left the hospital to move to another state. I loved her, she was very good. (props for Dr. Goseko) Anyway to this day I wonder if my daughter really had an advanced boneage. Since puttine her on Cortef we have had nothing but trouble with her weight and acne, yes I said acne and hair on her back. That she did not have bef0re being treated.

She too is weaned down to a minute dose now and her acne is gone, the hair on her arms and back are thinning.

Also she was treated at age 10, I was NOT treated, and my gene combo happens to be a little more severe than hers, yet I still ended up taller than her by an inch.  So I too think that the steroids supressed her growth somewhat in HER particular case. Also everything that we were working towards keeping her from actually happened anyway. She went through middle school with terrible skin, as if she were NOT being treated.

It's like choosing between 2 monsters sometimes.
