I know it can be stressful and overwhelming sometimes to worry about everything that can happen. It's also so hard to make a decision about what to do for your children sometimes because there are so many different opinions and you don't want to make the wrong choice. Just try to be as well informed as you can and know that you are doing the best you can. Considering that I am 41 years old and just found out that I have LOCAH and I have never had any problems, that makes me feel a lot better about the long term prognosis of my children.

We stayed at the Children's Inn which is right next to NIH. It is probably similar to the Ronald McDonald House. It was absolutely incredible!! The people there are so nice and the kids loved it. That was definately the best part of our trip.
