Because my 17- OHP is not elevated they told me I likley to do have CAH
My understanding is that the 17aOH Progesteron HAS to be elevated during the ACTH Testing. If it rises above 2.5 after the Synacthen injection.......AT least that is what mine did and with that my endo made a clear diagnosis of late-onset CAH. But only a genetic testing would give it more clarity.
