Thanks Kat. You have made a lot of good points. I too am suspecting that I could have PCOS and Addisons. I have yet to find one other person with LOCAH with the degree of adrenal insufficency I have. I might have some realy rare form of CAH and I might have to accept that it may even be an unidentified form at this time. I was very alarmed when the intern told me if the DNA comes back showing I do not have CAH then I should stop the steroids. How can I stop steroids when I had 0 aldosterone and two 24 hr cortisol of 5 and 7 with the norm being between 10-50. And, of course most stignificantly I could not longer get out of bed?? Last night I took my meds and thought to myself I am blessed because I am able to get medication and I can function now. mjak
