re: locah and weight gain....
Oct. 6th, 2007   4:47pm
I have always had trouble with my weight, up and down for my entire childhood, adolescence and adulthood.  I was diagnosed six years ago at age 30.  I was about 50lbs less than what I currently weigh.  Since diagnosis, I have always thought my weight problems were attributed to my LOCAH thinking back over the years.  Androgens definitely play a role, and of course anything but the strictest diet does not help.  I am on dex now but on or off I don't think it makes that much of a difference since it is low dose anyway.  How is your appetite?  I know that mine has always been pretty huge and the doctors suspect the androgens can certainly fuel one's appetite.  I am trying to stick to a natural, healthy diet to lose these extra pounds.  All the best to you.
Hope
